The start of Fall Semester '09

Damn that stupid new time slots.. Now I have to wake up at 7. "Saggy" really thinks we gonna appreciate this new time slots. Dumb as ever.

Okay anyway. Classes today was pretty much dreadful. Both classes started lessons =.=

I've still got a little dizzy in the head walking around looking like a ghost. Jumped out and scared the hell out of Chelsie from the back early in the morning, yeah I enjoyed that very much XD

Not sure want to look forward to the rest of the semester.. This is what I always say every new semester starts. Hahaha. Oh well, just see how the rest of the week goes first.

Hey sunshine, missed you

It's 1.30am

Yeah, I'm staying up late again.

While watching The Day The Earth Stood Still in my room,

I fell asleep on the sofa. For 3 hours. Nuff said.

Can't remember when was the last time I saw the sunset. Stayed indoor too long. Even when I'm stuck at home, my Lenny is my only companion.

Fun night out last night. With Fi, Shen, Ambrose, Alice, Keith who joined us for foosball last minute =) We went to 3 different places, Taipan (I've never eaten a yellow murtabak before) - SS2 Williams (damn, their Lasagna is good!) - SS15 Rack Cafe (foosball). Hope Ambrose's interview @ Air Asia went well. Watched Keith drawing for his assignments, very niceee.

And I'm wondering what to do for tomorrow. My mountain bike is no longer useful. No one asked me out, randoms please ;)

B'day dinner with family at Bubba Gumps tonight, can't wait for the food! Sis is back from campus, stressed out with all her assignments, I guess she knows what I'm going through now XD

Nights and after nights of suppers, made me crave for food now. Desserts from Snowflake, Enrich Chocolate, kaya butter toast, Choc milkshake, teh tarik, pancakes are on my mind. I think I'm hungry. lol

Helping Rachel to vote for her Rexona K-Queen contest ;D

Third Eye Blind's upcoming album Ursa Major is awessooommmmmmmeee!

Come on baby now,
what do you say,

let's take our love,
one night at a time."

Successful planning is never easy

Few days ago, I was having this conversation with a friend on the phone. He was telling me about in one of an organization, which name I refuse to reveal, the chairperson's mission is completely different with the company's CEO's, but both of their objectives/planning are the same. One question pops in my head. I used to think that miscommunication and lack of teamwork are the assassins of successful planning, but this, is even worse. And I don't know how does the company survived until now.

Tell me what's worse, the problems come from the committees/employers themselves, or, the problems started with the powerful people up there? Correct me if I'm wrong, what I have said and that I am going to say are my humble opinions.

What's the point of continuing planning an event or anything for a company, when two of the most powerful people at the top has different aims/missions?
What do they actually aim for throughout the whole event?

Like what always happen in many club and societies. Lack of teamwork, miscommunication, lack of experience, etc always kill the success of planning events. Everytime post-mortem negative feedbacks are more than positives. Shows that there are still plenty of us to learn and overcome them.

One factor why the mistakes of event-planning sometimes are repeated over and over again. During post-mortem, around me, there are many people who not willing to accept criticism. Participants gives negative feedback, or complain, and how the event organizers & planners react to it? No they don't keep quiet, they don't ignore it, they don't laugh and brush it off like that.. Even worse, they shoot back at the participants, then continue babbling about how bad is the participant(s). I always see this around me, I'm quite sick of it.

Try asking successful people like Tony Fernandez, the CEO of Air Asia, how he develop the whole company and what he had to overcome or achieve to go this far. Which is what I am going to do if I have a chance to meet him in person.

Please feel free to drop comments if you have any opinions. These are just what I think. Well, you have the right to express yourself after all, right?

It's a beautiful day

I don't mind being bored at home, sometimes I just like to be left alone with my own thoughts.

Staring out at the window,

I can clearly see the garden, green plants, the sun and and the wind.

Enjoying a hot mug of home made teh tarik,

Sitting in front of the laptop,

Listening to some music,

and watching some movies later.

But staying home today, is a bad idea.

"To the window the watcher came,
from the sky the ashes rain,
as we dance,
lost in cities paved with gold,
there promises of fortune told,
as we hide,
walls are breaking on us all."

Nike - Fall Collection

Hey people. Another batch of new stuff, but a bit later than other outlets. I only took pics of some nice stuff, not all. Some are nice, some are not.

Quite some time the Dunk lows went MIA.

Wmns Nike Dunk.

Zoomed in. Sorry for the bad quality.

Anyone's in the mood for an Air Force 1?

The trademark.

White and black print.

How about Safari Air Max 1?

Zoomed in,

Hungry for a new Windrunner jacket?

"In the spring of 1978, Nike apparel designer Geoff Hollister set out to design a new training kit for Nike sponsored runners. His primary goal was to create apparel to protect against the windy and wet climate of the Pacific Northwest. He drew inspiration from his studies of Native American history, an image he saw of a Pacific Coast Native American wearing a rain cape was particularly influential.

The garment quickly gained favor with serious runners and in 1980 it assumed its place in history as the first piece of Nike apparel to be worn by athletes at the U.S. track & field trials in Eugene, Oregon."
Here it is,

The best part of this, the interior is comfy and different, than other Windrunners.

Any guy can look good in it.

I'm not a guy, but I look quite good.

Another part of this jacket which makes it different from other Windrunners, is the back of the jacket:

Air flow.

Moving on, womens jacket. Well, not exactly a jacket.

The hoodie.

The 8-swoosh design, a symbol of Olympics 2008.

The rempit-looking me, some say.

where I don't have debts to pay,
I can't count on yesterday,
to find the way home."

Smile. Forgotten.

We lose friends along the way, we lose our loved ones as time goes by.

As for me, I lost one pot of gold, and gained one back.

There's two person I would like to say some words to.

To one of my special friend,

you made me realize how silly I was to take things seriously, way too seriously,

that I wasted my looks with hard & cold expressions.

You told me I have changed physically, mentally, as well as emotionally,

to both good and bad.

You also told me many times that I was outstanding,

and I still am.

You told me about my potential, that I never knew all this while.

But you saw, you saw whatever good is in me.

Do you know that you made me smile?

A smile so sincere and so real, coming straight from the heart.

Another special person,

you made me realized that stubborn & pride blinded my judgment,

It might still be, but I'm trying my best to change,

and I never knew that forgetting my mistakes and the past,

can really make my life so colorful.

Because of you, I can now smile and forget,

which I find it easy now.

So,

thank you,

to both of you,

who made an impact in my life.

it's the end of the world in my mind,
then your voice pulls me back,
