It was 3 a.m.

We talked about our lives until the sun came up.

Browsed through my playlist last night,
came across this one that used to describe my feelings perfectly years ago.

Hey Dad,
look at me,
think back and talk to me.
Did I grow up according to plan?

Do you think I'm wasting my time,
doing things I wanna do?
'Cause it hurts when you disapprove all along.

And now I try hard to make it,
I just wanna make you proud.
I'm never gonna be good enough for you.
I can't pretend that I'm alright.

And you can't change me.

'Cause we lost it all,
nothing lasts forever.
I'm sorry I can't be perfect.

Now it's just too late,
and we can't go back.
I'm sorry I can't be perfect.

I try not to think about the pain I feel inside,
did you know you used to be my hero?

All the days you spent with me,
now seem so far away.
And it feels like you don't care anymore.

Nothing's gonna change the things that you said,
nothing's gonna make this right again.
Please don't turn your back,
I can't believe it's hard just to talk to you,
'cause you don't understand.

Yes, this song is called Perfect, by Simple Plan.
Just a random post, don't roll your eyes.

"It was 3 a.m. when you woke me up,
then we jumped in the car and drove as far as we could go,
just to get away."

Everytime - Simple Plan.

Body rise

I just heard my dog sigh.

Woke up to the sound of the sewing machine.

Just another typical monday, without classes.

Going to make a trip to the bank and grandma's house to collect some aloe vera from her.

Goodness, I'm still sneezing until now.

I really really hate sinus.

"Staring at a maple leaf,
leaning on the mother tree,
I said to myself we all lost touch,
your favorite fruit is chocolate covered cherries,
and seedless watermelon,
nothing from the ground is good enough."

It never ends

Some people are just so lucky,
their parents still buy them expensive stuff.
People like me,
have to work our ass off to get what we want.

Headlines in the newspaper today was all about the fatal express bus accident,
the highway is always known as the "dark zone", in mandarin.

I used up 50% of my energy today at work.

Even on a pair of Air Max 1 I still can feel the pain the heel.

Human beings always interest me,
not psychologically, but wholly.
You think you know them,
but you actually don't understand them at all.

Conclusion? I'm one myself,
but I can't deny the fact that sometimes they are a pain in the ass.

"All the things that I used to say,
all the words that got in the way,
all the things that I used to know,
have gone out the window."

When It's Over - Sugar Ray.

It's pay back time

Sorry for the late update, peeps :)

In the middle of my semester break,
and I'm back at Nike after enjoying my few days leave from work.

I've been reading that book for, say, 3 months?
Thanks to my Philosophy class, which I had to read another book, Sophie's World.
That explains why I took so long to read that John Madden mystery book.
No doubt, both books are good.

Gee, I wonder when's the result is releasing?

This song can really get stuck in my head 24/7.

"I need you more than anyone darlin',
you know that I have from the start,
so build me up Buttercup,
don't break my heart."

We too are stardust

The Big Bang.

Finals is next week.

Haven't even finished studying Philosophy yet, one more chapter to go.

Psychology & Management left to study.

College today is dull, cold and quiet.

But thanks for making my day,
you know who you are.

and suddenly the infinite and penitent,
begin to look like home."

This time is different

The feeling everytime you stroke my hair,
is just so hard to ignore.

Another dull day, another dull weekend.

And I'm still waiting for my god forsaken email.

Tempted

Aewan & Siti,
thanks for the cupcakes :)
and yea, I know it's blur.
At least I helped selling 2 set of cupcakes for you guys haha.

Money Tree YES Challenge Red Carpet party was awesome!
We checked in to the ballroom with that Maybank Platinum card, with our own names at the back of the card, how cool is that? :)
No wonder only RSVP invited guests are allowed to attend.

MoneyTree hosted a party to celebrate the 5 YES teams who survived the journey and brought their business ideas to a higher level. The party which was attended by about 250 people - Advisors, Corporate Partners, Media, University representatives & about 130 youths - took place on Nov 20th in the Eastin Hotel. All YES teams were chauffer driven in a limo to the venue. Acts included 2 of Malaysia's rising Comedians : Kavin & Chee Ho, Chris Cheong (16 year old magician), Rendra (independent Singer), A breakdance crew & Shawn Lee (Malaysia's No.1 Human Beatbox)
Congrats to Johnson & Sheng Yeong once again!

*YES stands for Young Entrepreneur Start-up

This kicks took me 10mins to wear them.
Look at the 3 different laces, had to take 2 of them out to wear them.
But it's something worth buying :)

November is drawing to an end. Off to Final Exam planet in a few weeks time, the best part? I haven't start studying yet. Now I have a report to rush. Yay me.

Signing out.

still everything happens for a reason,
is no reason not to ask myself if I'm living it right."

When two heads are better than one

Nike is back again with collabs this November! If you are familiar with these stuff, I bet you have heard of Parra? Yes, you see it right, Parra is back again! Teaming up with Cassette Playa, now comes with more colors and wit. Sounds nice for you to ripe up this holiday season?

NIKE X PARRA - Air Maxim1+

This is Parra's first ever collaboration on the Nike Air Maxim1+. A 33 year old Dutch artist, well known for his colorful and bright typography, teamed up with Nike to form a "The Lonely Under-achieving Loners" line. Besides this awesome kicks, tee shirts and varsity bomber jackets are available as well.

NIKE X CASSETTE PLAYA - Dunk High Premium

Carri Mundae aka Cassette Playa's Nike holiday season '09 collection, also her second collaboration with the swoosh design. First collab was the Tier O Nike Blazer. Now back with a Dunk Hi Premium. Comes with black nylon design in the upper part, white contrasting stitching, red outer sole, and graphics on the toe box. To be honest with you, I have never seen a pair of shoes with 3 laces, a very clear swoosh, and a Cassette Playa graphic logo on the tongue.
"Fear No Evil" is the theme, also with tee shirts, varsity bomber jackets, and a Nike Dunk High.

For a closer and detailed look of this shoe, you can always check out HERE.

*Available at all Nike Sportswear stores in this November.

you came into my life and I thought,
hey,
you know this could be something."

The time we've lost can't get back

"Having another friend is better than having another enemy."
- mom, today.

Quiz was a disappointment.
We checked our scores today in class, looks like finals is going to be a lot harder that we thought.

December is creeping near.
In other words,
things are piling up.

Problems are never ending.

Events and invitations are also never ending.

So many things to be done =(

I really need a monthly planner, the method of remembering all the events isn't going to work anymore.

"No one will ever see this side reflected,
and if there's something wrong,
who would have guessed it?
And I have left alone everything that I own,
to make you feel like it's not too late,
it's never too late."

Don't want much, I just want everything

I didn't know the song Through My Window is from a local band,
sounds more like it's from All American Rejects or somebody.
But whatever, the song rocks and Bunkface is awesome.

Good news: I passed my driving test :) :)

Not so good news: Skipped 2 classes today for it, bye bye to my full attendance and participation marks :( :(

Yes, everyone connects.

"In the blink of an eye,
it’s just another day.
Telling me why,
I’ll find another way.
Got this feeling,
got me reeling
I can almost start believing."

What's the story, Morning Glory?

Monday morning is always the best.

Early morning preparation was hectic plus a phone call from my sis,
asking me what to do for her contact lens went into her eye.

Surprisingly cafeteria in college was quiet, hardly can have your quiet morning coffee there usually.

I got a booth to open in an hours time, now spending time blogging and facebooking.

Driving test is tomorrow!

"All your dreams are made,
when you're chained to the mirror of your razor blade,
today's the last day that all the world will see,
another sunny afternoon,
walking to the sound of my favorite tune,
tomorrow doesn't know what it doesn't know too soon."

Stay in heaven, rest in peace

It was near midnight when we got the news.

Walked home this evening to see the house next door packed with family members.

There you lay, peacefully.

Forgive me if I could not make it to the hospital to visit you before this.

Francesca sent her apologies back at Aussie, Serenie is on the way home, Kai just got back from China, the rest should have came to pay their last respect before I got home today.

I will always remember the times we stay up to watch football together since we live just next to each other.

I will always keep the racquet you bought for me, only you knew the love I still have for badminton.

I will not forget the curry laksa you once teased me about.

The beautiful wood cottage in your home that you construct with your own bare hands, now seems to look very dull.

Most of all, rest in peace,
tell Snoopy that I miss him too if you see him in heaven.

Up next

To tell the truth,
I really hate it when the house telephone rings,
because those who are calling are all deaf.

Mid-terms is finally over and of course, more and more plans to come. Assignments are not done yet, another presentation to go, a quiz to study for and because of that I had to postpone my driving test to a later date.
Just came back an hour ago from my last driving lesson. Now I have to arrange time again for my jpj test.
Monday is another big day. Thank goodness tuesday morning class is canceled. What else? Management assignment to do? That explains why I haven't been update this blog for quite some time. Not that I have anything to blog about also.

Off in 30 minutes time for assignment preparations. Seriously, I am dead tired, mentally.

I'm a wonder

Deepavali is a great day, that I know.
But please fucking stop the fire crackers!

Midterm starts on Tuesday and I haven't even started studying.

18 chapters to study for Philosophy.

Management is not something easy, but it is dry enough.

This is so great.

And I'm so screwed.

Yay me.

Please, I do NOT want 1901 hotdogs,
because monday is my study day.

Pika pika nightout!

It has been like 2 weeks ago since we last did pika pika.

Yeah it was indeed an interesting tuesday. Despite all the dreadful classes, went jogging at the park nearby then headed to dinner and usual late night yumcha session with the usual buddies.

It was all so random when we decided to do pika pika, since all the DSLR owners brought their babies with them :) A perfect spot for it, just nearby Nik's place, total darkness.

Introducing those who were there that night,

It's Alice yo!
Yours truly, after 3rd attempt.
Say hello to Dr FI!
It's Nik, what else is there to say?

I'm still waiting for Shen's. Teik Loon was there that night too, but he couldn't stand the heat and ended up staying in his car for the air-cond, but at least he did some stuff here but the photos are not with me.

So these are what I've got. Thanks to Nik's Canon and Alice's BabyG.

Me the angel!
Credits to Alice.

The Gingerbread-woman, me.
Credits to the ribbon and Alice =)

Me have wings!
Credits to Aliceee!

Alice's 1st attempt to draw a dog, tell me what does it look like to you. We all said it looked like an ant. Sorry babe!

Nik's first attempt to draw a cat, tak jadi.

Fi's first attempt to draw Maxis' logo, also tak jadi.

Alice's first attempt to draw Mickey, at least half of it looks like one.

Nik's version of Mickey, looked more like a panda.

Shen's work after 3rd attempt.

Nik's work on himself.. Hmm.

Shen the Bravo!
Credits given to Alice, and Teik Loon was supposed to pose beside him there.

Nik's successful first attempt for a Ying Yang.

2 smileys! One from Alice another from i-don't-remember-who.

Seriously, it was really fun! The feeling of the andrealine rush in anticipation to see how your display turn out, the excitement to see it is a success, the humor to see it turns out crappy... Simply can't wait to do this again lol.

*might be updated on photos, but no guarantee*

Midterm is just next week and I'm still not moving yet.

That's all people, I'm out!

This song is old, but still rocks the socks.

"Like a piece to the puzzle that falls into place,
you could tell how we felt from the look on our faces,
we were spinning in circles with the moon in our eyes,
the room left them moving between you and I."

Random pictures for the day

Browsing my pictures folders and realized I actually store a collection of random pictures, no idea why I still keep them, for memories I guess =D

Bobby, my maternal family's pet at Serdang. Sniffs around my shoes and chasing me around whenever he sees me.

M.A.C was doing this opening ceremony at Sunway Pyramid giving out this balloons to kids, ONLY KIDS. Call me thick face, I waited there with my supervisor for 15 minutes just to get this, the staff was kind enough to give me one.

Ivan said Ame asked him to get one for her when he was working. Imagine a guy asking for this from the store, holding this and walking around the mall. He told me it was kind of embarrassing.

Cupcakes from Cuppacakes! Delicious and awesome design. It is definitely something you must try if you haven't =)

Ame meant Amelia. We bought this for her 21st birthday, knowing she loves cupcakes. Mabeline, Ivan and me spent a lot of time on choosing designs. I don't remember what this is called, something with Love something.
Ivan had to woke me up in the morning to look for Cuppacakes, we both weren't sure where it is. We went to the wrong direction, ...., Okay, skip the part. Most important thing was Ame was indeed surprised =)

It was a boring day at work, that's why I started to scribble things on a paper.

Whatever was on my mind. I pour 'em all out!
I slept well that night.

The Puma shop at Sunway, love the poster. Usain Bolt!

Ex-colleague's locker. A Carl's Jr. burger as Ramly's burger. You'd be surprised to see all our lockers filled up photos, stickers, metal teddy bear, nonsense and crap.

A great memory of the Candy Bank, a valentine's day project. I was really fed up with the photographer, I think it was Nick Mok, or Nikolas, whatever. So this is my way to avoid it.

Last semester in Personality class, Alice and Jason did an IQ test together. They left this on my desk when I was out on break time. I previously told Jason my IQ score was only 95, and he actually believed me.

That day was really fun. Hitz.fm crew came our college! Free isotonic drink, free gifts etc. After that we went off to Dragon-i for food outing =D

I won't put the pictures all up here, later someone protest =S

That's all for now, I'm off to work!

I'll be waiting for you patiently,
If you feel the need just click on me,

Monday - 280909

It was quite a long day at college, for discussion and not wanting to stay home for the day. I'm glad that Kheng is back with us, really missed her so much =)

Back home, it was only sis and mom. I had nothing to do so grabbed a book and went to the garden to read. I hardly even step in the garden these days, too sunny was the reason. By then it was nearly 5pm.

The weather was good today after the afternoon rain. Despite the construction area beside my place, birds were chirping and flying everywhere. It wasn't really sunny, but I liked it like this.

I was just sitting at the white table. Very good spot for reading and stoning.

After 10 minutes of reading, I started to stare into space.

This is what I was staring at. Not the cars, the sky and the leaves.

And I stared at this plant infront of me. Wondering what if I was a tiny mankind walking in the plant, it'll look like a jungle.

Magpies are really cute. They don't come here often. Listening to them was almost paradise... until the crows came.

Uncle and cousins are back from S'pore and Australia. They'll be staying next door until wednesday. I haven't seen my cousins for nearly 3 years, but there wasn't anything much we talked, it was mostly about Australia.

That's about it. No idea why I post all this, for the sake of updating? Lol, I dunno.

I felt the branches of it looking at me,
is this the place we used to love?
Is this the place that I've been dreaming of?"

The night after the rain

The rhythm of the morning rain yesterday was good.

Sense of sight and hearing and smell finally collaborate.

Raindrops filled up the leaves of trees in my garden.

Walking down the street on the way to work, stepping on the still-wet path,
the morning was unusually quiet.

Fresh air smells really good.

Listening to my colleague complaining about the weather while I kept quiet.

Sometimes sunny sometimes rainy.

How annoying it is =)

Which do you prefer?

"You want to stay with me in the morning,
you only hold me when I sleep,
I was meant to tread the water,
now I've gotten in too deep."

This is for you

Hey friend,
we don't talk anymore, but I want you to know what I've never regretted knowing you.

People always say, if you meet anyone throughout your journey,
there must be a reason why and don't take them all for granted.

And always remember that never regret knowing anyone, when the time comes,
you will understand why.

I finally know what exactly they mean.

"Suddenly I became a part of your past,
I'm becoming the part that don't last,
I'm losing you and it's effortless,
without a sound,
we lose sight of the ground in a throw around,
never thought that you wanted to bring it down,
I won't let it go until we torch it ourselves."

Over My Head - The Fray
