So not Twilight?

Watched Twilight today. Surprisingly there were so many seats, as you know, I tried to book yesterday but it was FULL. But my bf said surely got some seats left, apparently he was right (okay honey, you win) =.=



Honestly I'm a bit disappointed. Some scenes were not in the movie. They also didn't show the history of Carlisle. So many scenes are different. Most of the dialogues are the same. But it's quite good that they added some humour. It's damn cool that they used Muse's song (Supermassive Black Hole) for the baseball scene, and Linkin Park's song (Leave Out All The Rest) as the closing. And also I saw Stephenie Meyer (author of Twilight) in one of the scenes!

How about the cast? I'm not happy with Rosalie.

I personally think this movie does not explain much about the vampires. I'm sure those who haven't read the book yet have all sorts of questions. =.= like my bf, shoot all kinds of questions. He called this a 'noob' movie the other day, but now, he said the movie's got a good storyline. (Blek)

Finals-Macroeconomics

Yesterday was Wednesday. My no class day. But decided to go college library to study. If not I'd end up sleeping my day off, then surely no time to study. Not only 4 looong chapters to study for finals, but have to read some financial economics newspaper articles on Wall Street Journal too, for essay questions.

So I was the first to be there at the library on the early morning. The study area was freezing cold...and strangely quiet, 'cause no one was around except for me.

During lunch hour was at cafeteria with Justin watching you tube vidoes on some japanese pranks.. Was enjoying, relaxing and laughing my head off. Then, Victor came to check out what I was doing there and reminded me about finals, this monday. =.=

I can't believe Dr Steven commented that I did a lot of reading in my persuasive speech. I never over-read in speeches. Even though I got 91% from that, but, over-reading? Me? Even Amelia agreed with me, she said I did not read that much when I was delivering my speech...but why Dr Steven said that ah?

She's watching Twilight today. Ugh. But I finished to series faster than her HAHA. Tried to book my tickets online. Guess what. FULL. Guess I just straight go Cineleisure tmr to check out.
I've been waiting for it damn long.

Twilight movie: is it any good?

Today is the 21st. Twilight, the New York Times bestseller is now a major motion picture! Today it is released in the US and I heard from people all over the world that tickets are selling out almost everywhere!

yes, i know Rob Pattinson aka Edward Cullen can't act, I could tell from the trailer.
and I already knew that some parts of the books are missing, and they changed some of the scenes. The book is always THE BEST.



Note:
-Twilight will be in theatres on 27th of November '08. I am so not going to miss it.
-New Moon, the next book, will be coming out as movie next year.
-Midnight Sun, the Edward's version of Twilight, also the final book of this series, is hitting all bookstores worldwide next year as well.

Caught in the act!

I arrived my workplace an hour early, what to do? Sleep la. On the bench located in the middle of the shop. The shutter was fully closed. I was thinking that my colleague coming later maybe can wake me up when she opened the shutter noisily..
When I slept for about like 45 minutes, the shop phone rang. I was wondering that maybe it's my colleague to ask me to punch card for her or what.. But then I thought that why would she wanna call the shop phone? She always call my hand phone instead. So I answered.

Me: Hello, Nike Sunway?

Brand Manager: Hello? Harmonie? Are you the one who just slept on the bench?

Me: *shit! kena caught* Yea la, just thought of waiting for Adz to come in later.. but I guess I dozed off.

Brand Manager: But still, you can't sleep on that bench.

Then he asked who's doing the morning and afternoon shift la etc. He wasn't angry at all, he's a nice guy. He also explained that he wasn't sure who was sleeping there because I covered my face with the hood of my jacket, lying almost faced down. But 5 minutes later, the phone rang again. This time, it's the Brand Executive.

Brand exec: Wah, sleep until so syok ah.

Me: Sorry la. Just wanna wait for Adz maa.

Brand exec: The whole office people here saw you sleeping leh.. *wtf*

Me: .....

Brand exec: Is it all of you always sleep when you're doing morning shift?

Me: .. Uh, no la. Was just tired oni la.. *ei bitch, still damn early summore outside so dark no ppl at all, what's so wrong about sleeping?*

Then she asked me about something else.. I suddenly felt someone was watching me when I continue doing the morning work.. My supervisor said that it is nothing wrong sleeping when it's still early.. but dunno la, first time kena nicely this time X.X

Dota-Anywhere, Anytime.

I don't understand what dota is all about exactly. Justin showed me once how he played it, my mind is still blank until now. Most of my classmates play dota during class summore. Examples:
