Morning hike at the Broga Hill

It was a beautiful Sunday morning. Waking up and getting ready at 2am, and meeting up with the rest at the McD nearby Puchong toll. Bloggers and photographers like Feeq, Justin, Jeremy, KY, Rebecca, Augustine, plus me and Nik.

The gears, obviously not all of it. While still at McD.

So we started our journey to Broga, Semenyih with 2 cars. It took us about 40 minutes to get there. The hill located just infront of a rabbit farm. Upon arriving, a bit of chilling out here and there, then we started our hike together, you seriously need a torch light, because you can't even see a single thing. It was only 5am.

There are 3 peaks all together. The first peak I would say was the hardest to hike, not to mention the number of times I had to stopped for few minutes to rest, the heavy backpack was the kill. The second and third peak weren't hard to hike after that. Just that some bunch of idiots thought it was nice to smoke at the peaks was the only spoiler.

We arrived at the 3rd peak at 7am and realized that our view of the sunrise was blocked by some huge stone, so we went down to the 2nd peak. There was more people there, as the view of the sunrise was perfect at the spot.

Oh yea, Jeremy discovered there was U-mobile 3G coverage at the 1st peak as he was busy tweeting. And guess what? Full bar of DiGi coverage at the 3rd peak, "I will follow you" was kinda true.

View from the second peak.

All the hike was worth it if you get to see the sunrise.

Not to mention the wind was strong and it was freezing cold up there at the peak.

After the sunrise, the jokers spent some time posing around for the cameras, picture time :)

Justin.
Meditating in peace and calm..

Augustine.
One of the busy photographer of the day.

Feeq.
Funny poser.

Jeremy.
The bboy. Awesome shot.

Please do not imitate this,
unless you got the skill, of course.

Always find time to relax after all the hard work.

Jeremy looking for coverage, using the tripod as antenna. LOL

Rebecca. Beautiful shot.

Before taking off hiking down the hill, we grabbed a bite of the chilli tuna sandwich. As for me, hiking down was the hardest part, I slipped and fell numerous times. At the entrance of the hill, few stalls were opened for business, like ice cream, some Ipoh salted chicken, etc.

Upon leaving the hill, it was makan time :) Eh, don't give that look la, after all the hiking sure damn hungry one what..

The first place we went, was some kampung place in Broga, like what Rebecca said, "old town until really old town".

And don't forget that Broga is one of the best places to hunt for food in M'sia.

I'm so proud of this shot. *ahem*

Then we went to this place,

Asam African fish.
The flesh is super fresh and smooth :)

This might looks like nothing special,
but this was what got my mouth burning.

Another proud shot from me :)
Okay don't roll your eyes.

The food trip didn't stop here, because we went for our next stop, just right here, because on a hot sunny day like this, something is missing :)

This says it all.

The abc uncle.

So the food trip stop here. Then we all left for the highway home. But before this post ends here, a group picture is the best closing.

Credits to Augustine,

Worth to go for second time.
"Hot as hell,
cold as ice,
sip it slow 'cause it's so nice,
dulls my senses,
drives the pain but I do it again,
burns a bit to the touch,
dangerous if it's too much,
if this bottle could talk."
